Space and temperature are two of the most important factors that control our perception of time. Icetimer is an installation that measures different time perceptions that a person develops in regard to low temperature spaces. It is based on a device that looks akin to a sand timer but instead of sand, it measures the time using drops of water. The object is positioned in the open-air snow laboratory and is kept frozen, consequently it doesn’t measure any time. Icetimer only is activated once a heating source is triggered to melt the ice.
